Trillium Book Award Finalists Announced

The Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) has announced the 17 finalists for the Trillium Book Awards. Established by the Ontario government in 1987, the awards "recognize excellence, support marketing and foster increased public awareness of the quality and diversity of Ontario writers and writing." You can catch the French and English finalists for the Trillium Book Awards at Open Book's next Toronto Literary Salon on June 22 at the Thompson Toronto. You can also join the readings and celebration on June 23. Michael Chan, Ontario Minister of Tourism and Culture, will announce the winners in Toronto on June 24th.
