Priscila Uppal

This summer, poet Priscila Uppal was in London for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. While there, she wrote two poems a day as well as regular sports art reviews, posting both to the Literary Review of Canada's Poet's Corner and Can Fund's website.

She also, together with the LRC, hosted a Summer Sport Poetry Competition. This week, she announced the winners, and you can read the four winning poems online at Poet's Corner.

Congratulations to the first place winner, Heather Davidson, whose poem "Summer Sport" took gold and will be appearing in the November 2012 print edition of the LRC!
