Shelf Monkey in Locus Online's Best of 2007 List

In his "2007: The Best of the Year" feature book review in Locus Online, Jeff VanderMeer cites Corey Redekop’s Shelf Monkey (ECW Press, 2007) as one of the top First Novels of 2007: "Corey Redekop provided this year's gonzo fun with his Shelf Monkey, an utterly enjoyable novel about radical bookworms." VanderMeer’s list is a good read, and it includes the categories ‘Novels,’ ‘First Novels,’ ‘Anthologies,’ ‘Graphic Novels,’ ‘Notable Reprints,’ ‘Overlooked Books,’ and his ‘Sins of Omission.’ Check it out at Locus Online.

Basil Papademos is the author of MOUNT ROYAL: There's Nothing Harder Than Love, published in the spring of 2012 by Tightrope Books, also available as an ebook in all formats from all digital retailers.
